Terms of the scheme

1. Cool Kerala is implemented by Energy Management Centre – Kerala (EMC), Department of Power, Government of Kerala. EMC does not buy, store, distribute or sell fans.
2. A coupon is issued to a verified mobile number for one model. The number of fans a mobile number can obtain is limited as set by EMC.
3. A coupon is valid for the period shown on it and never beyond the scheme end date. Expired or cancelled coupons cannot be used.
4. The scheme price is the maximum price a dealer may charge. The citizen pays the dealer directly.
5. A coupon can be used at any authorised dealer of the selected manufacturer.
6. Availability depends on manufacturer and dealer stock. Warranty and after-sales service are provided by the manufacturer and dealer.
7. EMC may cancel a coupon in case of misuse, with a recorded reason.

I agree that my name, address and verified mobile number will be stored and used by EMC and its service providers only for the Cool Kerala scheme — to issue and verify coupons, to send SMS messages about my coupon and purchase, and to monitor the scheme. My personal details will be visible only to authorised EMC staff and will be partly masked for dealers.
